The continuous war between the 'Aggressor' and the 'Protector', Wild Ocean and Solid Rock' - reflects itself as I saw it, whilst walking past in dread and fear on my daily voyage to school. Dreams of being dragged into it's vast chasm and lost in it's enormous belly eaten by monsterous creatures of the sea, haunted me late at night as I continuously and carefully calculate the strength of each lash and drag, if it was coming closer to swallowing our home, if there was going to be one enormous wave. Therefore, I owe a gracious gratutity to the heavily beaten, but solid rocks, who hold fort, and keep that angry ocean at bay. I marvel at their natural sculptures, try to ascertain their wear and tear over the forty plus years that I have known them intimately. In their little hollowed crevices, there does indeed exist gardens of exotic pleasures, of happy creatures, of growth and moss, that I present in textures and fibres that resemble what I see.
